- Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday asked urban local bodies across the state to start issuing ‘B’ khatas to unauthorised properties as a “one-time measure” and ensure that illegal layouts do not mushroom.
- Santhosh, the owner of Mudremane Coffee Curing Unit, studied in a government school and established himself as a coffee exporter. He has donated Rs 2.18 cr to government higher primary school in Muttigeapura village. He has admitted his son in the same school.

CBSE proposes draft policy for conducting two Board exams from 2025-26 onwards
As per the draft norms, the first phase of the exams will be conducted from February 17 to March 6, while the second phase will be conducted from May 5 to 20.
The National Education Policy, 2020 recommends that students be given an opportunity to improve their performance in Board exams.
Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan chaired a meeting which discussed the issue.

S. Gabe Hatch, a clinical psychologist and AI entrepreneur from Utah, recently designed an experiment to test this idea, asking human clinicians and ChatGPT to comment on vignettes involving fictional couples in therapy, and then having 830 human subjects assess which responses were more helpful.
Overall, the bots received higher ratings, with subjects describing them as more “empathic,” “connecting” and “culturally competent,” according to a study published last week in the journal PLOS Mental Health.
